Settling in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century the writer Gertrude Stein, her brothers Leo, Michael, and sister-in-law Sarah led a Bohemian life style and were amongst the first collectors to recognise the talents of artists like Picasso and Matisse. Their fascinating collection of modern art brings together some 120 pieces by Renoir, Cézanne, Picasso, Matisse, Manguin, Bonnard and many more.
